Strengthen your family’s relationships by learning about effective parenting techniques!
Three programs are open to the public: Confident Parenting, Fatherhood Support, and Co-Parenting.
Confident Parenting Program
You will learn many essential parenting skills such as effective communication styles, encouragement, cooperation among family members, ways to develop your child’s self-esteem, managing stress and anger, positive discipline strategies.
How long? Once a week for 9 weeks
Where? Classes are available in Oahu, East Hawaii, Ka’u
For whom? This program welcomes everybody in the community. Expecting or new parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, service provider, with custody or a probation case, or other cases involving service plans… we welcome all!
Fatherhood Support Program
You will be able to connect with other fathers from all walks of life through relationship building, talking story, and engaging in a culturally competent curriculum that allows you to establish a solid, informal network of support.
How long? Once a week for 12 weeks
Where? Classes are available in Oahu, East Hawai’i
For whom? This program welcomes full-time, part-time, foster, hanai (adoptive) dads, step-dads, expecting dads.

Co-Parenting Program
You will learn many essential co-parenting skills such as rules for co-parenting, how to explain to the children, how to have healthy relationships, healing the hurts, how to recover from a breakup, being free of guilt & resentment, living with integrity, effective communication styles, finding happiness again.
How long? Once a week for 4 weeks
Where? Classes are available virtually via Zoom only
For whom? This program welcomes everybody in the community, especially those who are raising children when separated, divorced or not in a relationship with the other parent.
