Practicum Students
Bachelor’s and Master’s level students can complete their practicum and internship at PARENTS, Inc. These may include but are not limited to:
- Social Work (BSW and MSW)
- Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)
- Master’s of Counseling Psychology (MCP)
- Psychology (BA)
Students are trained to provide direct service to clients/participants and are supervised according to their university’s requirements.
Universities currently working with PARENTS, Inc. include:
- University of Hawaii at Manoa
- University of Hawaii at Hilo
- Rutgers University
Clerical/Office Volunteers
Volunteers will work with office staff to improve the office organization and environment through various clerical duties. These duties may include: filing, copying, sorting documents, checking documents, office organization, etc.
Volunteers may partner with PARENTS, Inc. on a long-term or short-term basis. Volunteers work primarily under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Director. PARENTS, Inc. will match volunteers with opportunities suited to their interests and abilities. We work with volunteers to consider factors such as experience, need, strengths, geography, and more.
